Fantastic Resource for Evaluating Schools

When we were looking to relocate, our first priority was schools.  I found GreatSchools.org – what I believe to be the best overall resource for evaluating individual schools, and it greatly helped us in making a final decision on the community we live in today.

Florida schools are funded at the County level – a higher level than many other states with more granular districts and budgets.  It’s not a “better or worse” discussion – it’s just different, but it does mean that you have to evaluate individual schools carefully within a district – at all levels (grade, middle, and high school).
